Syed Asmat is a Partner of Audit & Assurance rendering audit and assurance services in Yousuf Adil Chartered Accountants. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of United Kingdom. Asmat has more than eighteen years of national and international experience of audit and assurance services in versatile industries. He also has international experience in KPMG Ireland in financial sector audit from 2007 to 2009. The major sectors served include telecom, financial services and banking, Oil & gas, Energy & Power, Public and Development sector.

His areas of expertise include Audit & Assurance, controls assurance review, internal controls and risk assessment reviews and fraud risk assessment related to external auditing. He is well versed with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRs) and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and applicable corporate regulations.

Asmat is also engaged in conducting training sessions on various technical topics of IFRSs, accounting and auditing for the YA team in-house and external clients. Asmat is also active in supporting the professional bodies and served in ICAP Regional Committee for four years as regional representative and various technical committees including fiscal Committee and CPD committee.
