Sufian is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, with a multifaceted experience of 17 years. During this time, he has performed assurance services with Deloitte Pakistan and KSA. He has also served as Manager Accounting with PMCL (Jazz). However, his core passion has been in the field of taxation. He has held multiple roles in the tax departments of Schlumberger Pakistan, PMCL (Jazz), Deloitte Pakistan, EY Pakistan and currently with Yousuf Adil.

Sufian’s key expertise is in tax compliance, litigation and advisory; comprising all major taxes applicable in Pakistan (income tax, federal and provincial sales tax and other levies). He also specializes in tax accounting, tax due diligence, and providing complex tax advisory on M&A projects, including tax modeling. Sufian has country wide tax compliance, litigation and advisory experience, spanning all 7 tax jurisdictions of Pakistan. Sufian is also an expert on international taxation, double tax treaties and transfer pricing. He frequently conducts training sessions and also has a rich teaching experience.
