Muhammad Shahzad Hussain is a Partner of Business Process Solutions (BPS) at Yousuf Adil Chartered Accountants. His mandate is to help businesses manage their accounting, tax, payroll, and technology processes.
Shahzad specializes in Accounting (IFRS), Business Process Reengineering (BPR), ERP implementations, Accounting and Finance transformation, External Audit, Internal Audit and Islamic Finance.
For close to two decades, Shahzad has worked closely with the CEOs, boards and executive management of the Big Four across the globe, facilitating them in areas of Accounting, Book Keeping, Payroll, BPR and ERP implementation. Shahzad has provided accounting and payroll related services to clients in various industries including, Financial Institutions, Manufacturing industry, Service sector, Oil & Gas companies and the Hospitality bigwigs.
Prior to Yousuf Adil, Shahzad also has experience as a Senior Manager Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR), with Ernst & Young managing portfolio of clients ranging from finance function outsourcing to statutory reporting, including managing finance department of multi- national entities.
During his tenure with Price Waterhouse Coopers in UAE, he served as Divisional Financial Controller (DFC) for Mubadala Development Company.
Additionally, Shahzad worked as Senior Manager Islamic Financial Services Group (IFSG) managing portfolio of clients ranging from Islamic Banks, Windows and Takaful. In addition to conducting training Sessions on behalf of the Central Bank – State Bank of Pakistan (NIBAF), Shahzad was deputed for five months to Ernst &Young, Oman for setting up an Islamic Bank.
Shahzad is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and is also a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Islamic Professional Accountant (CIPA) from AAOIFI.
