The candidate will be responsible to;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Assist clients with the challenges surrounding GL and management reporting<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Develop and review policy and procedures, including process maps across accounting, operational and technical domains<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Provide insights on key risks and challenges in ERP\/Financial system implementation projects<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Assist clients with identifying their accounting\/reporting challenges by carrying out root cause analysis and developing solutions for the same<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Assist the team manager with engagement planning and overall project management<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Assist the team and client with preparation of Business Requirement Document (BRD) encapsulating all requirements from business stakeholders<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Assist clients with preparing financial statements as per applicable accounting framework<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Assist clients with transforming their finance function, restructuring processes, management reporting &amp; design of control framework<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Draft Target operating model (TOM) for Finance department leveraging client input and strategy<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Preparation of approach\/ methodology in proposals in response to client RFP<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Interact and develop relationships with key client staff and engage in a professional and confident manner<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Document complex business processes by applying a variety of techniques, tools, and technologies to identify operational inefficiencies and non-compliant situations<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Navigate multiple commitments on a regular basis to balance tasks across various client commitments<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>ACCA \/ CPA \/ CFA \/ CA Finalist or Bachelor\u2019s \/ Master\u2019s degree in Business \/ Accounting &amp; Finance \/<br \/>Economics or equivalent from a reputable university.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>\u00a0Experience with IFRS GAP\/Impact assessments and Implementation<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>\u00a0Expertise in providing advisory services to clients transitioning between accounting frameworks\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0(e.g. IFRS for\u00a0 \u00a0SME to full adoption of IFRS)<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>\u00a0Experience in providing complex accounting and reporting advice across the public and private sector<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>\u00a0Knowledge of Middle East accounting practices and regulations<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>\u00a0Fluency in English is a must<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>\u00a0Bilingual candidates having fluency in Arabic will be preferred.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>\u00a04+ years of prior working experience in a relevant professional discipline.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>\u00a0Big Four Firms\u2019 experience is a plus.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>\u00a0Candidates are encouraged to apply at \u201c<a href=\"mailto:humancapital@yousufadil.com\">humancapital@yousufadil.com<\/a>\u201d with the subject \u201cSenior<br \/>Consultant \u2013 Financial Risk &amp; Regulatory Advisory\u201d before August 28, 2022.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yousuf Adil Chartered Accountants is looking for the position of \u201cSenior Consultant \u2013 Financial Risk andRegulatory Advisory\u201d for its Karachi office.
