Man - Next Generation

The AmbuMan is the ideal training manikin for the advanced BLS algorithm training. It is specially designed for basic training of medical and nursing staff and also designed for education of lay people.

The AmbuMan allows optimal training of chest compressions combined with a realistic respiration. The user friendly Ambu hygienic system prevents cross-infection and ensures realistic airway resistance and an exhalation through mouth and nose.

Monitoring instrument

The indicator shows the instructor, the volume of supplied air (in L) and the chest compression depth (in mm). Furthermore, it visualises the compression with wrong hand position and a gastric inflation with a warning symbol.

Ambu Manikin Management Modules

The core is the AmbuMan with the latest, integrated Ambu Wireless Technology. The browser-based Ambu Manikin Management Module allows the wireless control, documentation and monitoring of the performance of the trainees. The Ambu Manikin Management Module is the central inter-face, where all data and information come together: compression depth, correct hand position, Ventilation volume, stomach inflation.

Selftraining module

The AmbuMan Wireless includes a licensfree Selftraining module that allows to establish training stations and perform an instructor independent training at anytime. Resuscitation teams can train continuously or trainees can prepare for examination.

Carotispulse

The carotid pulse can be felt during chest compression and also can be simulated by a manual pulse bellow.

FEATURES:

• Like all Ambu BLS manikins the Ambu Baby has the patented hygienic system that eliminates the risk of cross infections. All trainees receive their own face piece and head bag for the training. At the end of the training the face piece can be cleaned and the head back is discarded. A truly 100% hygienic way of training. 
• Just as in real life the airway open only when the head is properly moved into the sniff position. The instructor can simulate obstruction of the airway by an on/off slider. The Ambu baby has additional features like a realistic brachial pulse to provide a correct and realistic training. Stomach ventilation can further be checked visually.

Prestan Professional Manikins are equipped with a revolutionary CPR Rate Monitor that allows for instant feedback to both instructor and student regarding the rate of chest compressions. The visual feedback from the CPR Rate Monitor gives students a real life feel of delivering 100 compressions per minute.

Audible Clicker:

In addition to the visual rate monitor, students will also hear a clicker sound as the chest is pushed to the appropriate depth allowing them to experience the true force needed to deliver real life chest compressions.

• The Prestan Professional Jaw Thrust Manikin Head is a unique tool to use in the teaching of the Jaw Thrust maneuver.
• This new and exciting product from Prestan looks and feels like the original Prestan Professional Adult Manikin Head and even fits onto the torso of the original Prestan Professional Adult Manikin.
• The difference between the two heads is found under the face skin on the left and right side of the jaw line. It's easy to use allowing students to learn and understand how to do the jaw thrust maneuver correctly.

• The Ambu Airway Man has a special intubation head that allows trainees to practice the oral intubation using modern airway management devices like ET tubes, Laryngeal mask and Combitube.
• To create more variance in the training, the stiffness of the chest can be changed and adjusted with just one screw.
• The Airway Man W (Wireless) does not need cables and wires. Which means it can be placed in realistic surroundings away from computers and power supplies. This gives a great amount of freedom during training and because there are no wires or cables lying around it gives an even more realistic scenario. The manikin is also equipped with a mechanical monitoring instrument showing effectiveness of the resuscitation, including results achieved for ventilation volume and depth of external chest compression. Moreover it indicates any stomach inflation and incorrect hand positioning.
